Where do the legs go? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165501600241It just seems SO USEFUL if one is moored on an island with no bridge and one does not wish to leave a craft attached to the river bank while away. Nice little pack raft? Or useless shite? I think it's quite interesting but it looks like one may have to be legless to use it. Weighs about 7kg in bag with pump.

That image is completely photoshopped. The “boat,” isn’t even on the water, the fisherman is super imposed onto the image as well. Surely you’d be better off having a beat up old tender and a chain and padlock?

Cheap shite. Get yerself a used hypalon Avon instead. Indestructable, and lasts forever Did have one of them with the boat but it was too nackered. I am looking for something very light rather than an actual inflatable dinghy. I don't like inflatables. Something that can be carried without even noticing it. I expect a proper packraft is probably better. Maybe this is better klymit.com/en-gb/products/litewater-dinghyIdea being one could leave boat somewhere inaccessible, go off and do essential contracts which sometimes take a few days then come back on the train. Needs to be very light. And no I don't want a dinghy opposite the boat advertising the fact it is unoccupied.

As I am in fact 11 years old forever that seems about right.
However I no longer need such a craft so it would be surplus to requirements.
Thank you for keeping it in mind.
The Mapute stolen dinghy is going to be really cool.

I saw a couple of these the other day with fisherwankers in them. It turns out that there are leg tubes at the stern end like a sort of drysuit arrangement. You put your legs in and flap around and it propels the boat.
I think JohnV had a good point about the danger of become trapped but it is actually quite an interesting design.

That’s good then, why don’t you buy one?

Could be fun in one of those at Saltstraumen! Plenty of fish there, too!

That’s good then, why don’t you buy one? I don't need one because the mooring question has been answered without needing to moor on an island with no bridge.

That’s good, because I still think the thing in the advert looks like a shit idea and more hassle than it’s worth.

Anyhow if you do ever face the question again I expect the pursuit launch with its capable 10hp motor (would push ok in a flood) could be left at a club or similar by arrangement, I'm sure.
