Actually ... for the sake of honesty I should confess. We moored at Worcester next to a boat, and the couple on board were aloof to the point of ignorance which we thought very odd. Boaters are almost always chatty and friendly. Turned out they'd stolen the boat and were living aboard. We met the owner and gave a statement for court purposes. The guy pleaded guilty so I didn't have to appear That's it ... no other skeletons honest. Rog

Had a walk into Long Eaton and then back down the Erewash canal and up the Trent path. Spotted these two beauties on the canal ... fabulous , especially the two tier one. However it would be life afloat without travelling, which really wouldn't work for me ... it's the moving that makes the boat make sense to us. What do you think ? Rog . . . . . . . . . I’m busy with final preparations for having the boat out the water. Is that locally, for the long overdue hull condition/insurance Survey, . . or have you got it booked in at New Holland Breakers ?

Jane fell while out running and her eye landed on Rog's fist. Or something.

This long overdue hull condition/insurance survey is almost as long overdue as this long overdue libel summons.

Oh look my own personal internet troll has poked its head out of its hole. I wonder exactly at what point does internet stalking become harassment? Legally speaking like. At least my boat is a float Tony, unlike your remaining boat, which unless you sell it. It will spend its remaining days as a sunken relic. If not to me pass it on, so at least it’s got a chance of surviving. If you change your mind, you’ve got my number. I’ll make an offer on selby Micheal anytime. Based on its current “real,” condition mind. Not any delusional figure you can imagine. Anyway I mean it!

I hope you've had the decency to let the dock, boat-lift, or slipway operators know just how weak the bottom of your much cherished bodged-up shit-laden wreck really is.

It's almost as if you are widely-regarded as a bitter old crank who only posts on TB because you're ignored everywhere else. Not that anybody here thinks that obviously.

In other words Selby Michael is too big and worth nothing.
If as you suggest the CRT and their contractors are just thieves it would be completely pointless to touch the thing because it is going to have a significant negative value.
One for the flora and fauna to deal with I reckon.

You, and the other vacuous gobshites who have been gleefully, and wrongly, predicting the seizure and removal of Selby Michael from C&RT controlled waters for such a very long time, would be well advised to bring yourselves up to date with facts and reality rather than continuing to parade your ignorance and stupidity in public. Had you done so, you would already be aware that Parry, Deards, Aymes, Garner, Barry et al, including Brian Clarke and his Commercial Criminal Boat Services, have for once fallen flat on their crooked dishonest faces, and failed miserably, with their customary and wholly illegitimate and unlawful boat removal processes. If you sold it to Kris for £50, you could use the money to buy a book about how to tie mooring ropes properly.

It had a wire on it with clamps.
One wonders if it was an old Tirfor wire. these do rust out and part fairly quickly. You really need to use a 316 stainless wire and put binx nuts on the U bolts for proper security.
