I did notice a heavy bomber escorted by a couple of fighter jets earlier on over the River. I imagine they were out of Brize Norton. Perhaps this was to do with the football.
Nice to see the formation. Very tidy.

It wasn't a heavy bomber, it was a Hercules Transport with an all female crew. Hercules flew out if Brize Norton the Typhoons flew out of Coningsby
