'Covid' is not my boring crap... it came from the likes of Boris Johnson and the terrorists at 'SAGE'. You fell for the crap, wore a face mask, and went and got yourself 'vaccinated' because you were scared of dying. Fucking idiot. Just sayin'. What happened to "quiet minds cannot be perplexed or frightened..." etc. I haven't been frightened at all of 'catching Covid'... but I have been inconvenienced by all the stupid headless chickens that squawked about getting their 'vaccines', keeping 2 metres apart from other people, and dousing themselves in 'sanitizer'. You are one of them, so you needn't lecture me on "We don't want to hear about Covid". People have killed themselves because of the lockdowns, their businesses being ruined, threats of fines from the Police.... and now you and 'Hot Tub Dave' just say "We don't want to know" and try to wash your hands of the sordid show you were - and still are - part of. "Double booster" indeed. Buy a packet of tissues if you're worried about sneezing in the wrong place.

You fell for the crap, wore a face mask, and went and got yourself 'vaccinated' because you were scared of dying. Fucking idiot. Just sayin'. nobody wants to hear about covid It is unlikely you speak for everybody. This is your old trick of using the "We/us against You". I'm sure you don't vouch for Tony D's many customers. Who knows who reads Thunderboat? No-one. Certainly not you. The 'Covid' scam has affected millions of people. And you just shrug it off? 'Covid' is not over until Canadians can travel on trains in their own country without being forced to take 'vaccines' for a fictitious 'pandemic', and the EU 'Covid Passport' has been got rid of. Sell your own freedom if you like, but you have no right to sell that of others.

All drugs have side effects. I understand the benefits might outweigh the sideffects for some people. But avoiding regularly drugs while you can is the best plan. I'm due my regular jabs shortly, hopefully all on one day. Now go and have a go at Jim, dogless. This is where it started (again) from the clown having to bring up his jabs once more. As long as Jim keeps backing the corrupt governments and their money-making wheezes, I shall be fighting my corner. Who will die first? Place your bets! Jabbed-up-Jim or No-Jabs-Foxy ?

Back to the OP, I think boating does (or can) keep you fit so long as you Single hand all the time (not accepting help) - this year since I lost 3 stone over the winter, I've single handed most of my route - eaten and drunk pretty much what I like and not put any weight on... I suppose 'worry' helps... as does being on duty 18 hours a day 7 days a week with "days off" consisting of cleaning, laundry and restocking the boat.
I recommend a live-aboard experience as a way to keep the pounds off... perhaps I could sell the business in years to come on that basis?

You make full use of other advances in science,e cars, speed cams😉, e outboards, li-ion bats etc. What's the difference with the meds to keep you well and active? They know what they are doing. I think so too but the possible long-term effects are worrying. Those I have known who spent years on medication always seemed to be deeply unhealthy. I suppose that's why they were on meds though. I was prescribed a cocktail of stuff revolving around a hypotension issue which had positive results with no side-effects that I noticed. But taking handfuls of pills is not a nice way to live so I've recently stopped taking them and instead I'm using diet to hopefully achieve the same results. Obviously I don't know if this is working as I hope, I'll request a general check-up soon and we'll see. I feel fine but then again I felt generally ok right up until being hospitalised for a couple of days. I have been on some medication since the late 90's (hypertension) without noticeable side effects until about 6/7 years ago when one started to occur.
it was impacting on my ability to be active but a change in one of the meds changed the side effect ......... for a different one
However this one is easier to live with and decided (with the doctor) that if it didn't bother me much then it was better than trying all the others available in the hopes of finding better.
