Problem at the moment is supply, there is a shortage of kit, mainly batteries. Plus my installer is not taking on new business he is saying next year at the earliest for a new install. Yes I’m glad I’ve already got my pile of lithium.

I'm going to see if the quack will prescribe me Lithium on account of mood swings and I can save it in little bottles as an investment.

I just looked at the Chinese supplier I used for my cells, in stock and much the same price as 18 months ago.

I like the Chinese branding on some of the lithium battery products.
One which came up was "Shun bin". Obviously in a factory there will be some QC activity and testing of products. The Shun Bin seems an interesting way to remove dodgy units from the supply chain and knock them out on Amazon.
Do we think these slitty eyed chinamen have a sense of humour ?

In the news... In PMQs, Starmer calls out the prez on how the relief in the face of the approaching energy crisis will be paid for, especially if taxes are to be cut.. The answer is simplicity itself: borrow a shitload more. In Liz we are trussed. doesn't make much odds one way or the other
Tax too highly and those companies then don't pay such ridiculous bonuses to their board who therefore don't pay as much tax, they pay smaller dividends to the companies who are their shareholders so they pay less tax, they pay less bonuses etc and if they are pension pot holders then they pay smaller pensions which means A the richer ones pay less tax and the poorer may slip into that area where they begin to receive benefits. They also invest less so we end up with a more antiquated system than we would have otherwise. For instance if they invest less in charging points for electric cars then they become less viable an option for some people who then retain their diesel or petrol cars etc etc etc etc
It's all circular .... in the long run it's always Joe Muggins the average tax payer that ends up paying for it

So today's the day the great announcement is to be made how Truss will help pay the fuel bills. Would be good to hear all energy companies are nationalised from lunch time and their profits seized 🤣🤣 Rog Jesus Rog, I thought you should be old enough to remember trying to deal with a representatives of a Nationalised Industry

So that's how capitalist economies function...so much better.

Quite difficult to consume less electricity when the powers that be are pushing an electric car revolution. Still, I guess if one is affluent enough to be able to fill the Manor House roof with PV panels then one can go 8 months a year by solar power. The peasants will just have to walk to have their revolt. It's a bugger when one's manor house is listed. Just have to keep chopping down the trees!

I think I paid around £1650, now showing £1718. In stock. Not quite the same type of cell but still 200Ah x 12
