I thought the sea otter and beaver boats had stopped being made. Maybe not.
ETA oops it's a different company !
Wilderness was the beaver and Sea Otter were the aluminium ones made by Sea Otter.
Ok I was confused.
Those little beavers are really pleasing.

interesting rig, no rigging. unstayed masts are simple and cheaper to look after.

interesting rig, no rigging. unstayed masts are simple and cheaper to look after. Not sure that's true. There is a lot more pressure on an un-stayed mast. But the absence of rigging is attractive. However I've seen that rig on a racing dinghy which was quite successful.

You haven’t got all that stainless steel standing rigging under ridiculous pressure that needs replacing every few years.

Seem to recall those things were home-built from plan. Looks cool though. yes I think I’d need something bigger to live on maybe 36ft. This has probably gone over what it’s worth already. Because as you say sheathed ply a lot of self builds but also lots of professional builds.
