Interesting price £80k. That boat (Arthur) sold for less than £75k about ten years ago. Seems unlikely it would have increased in value. Photo definitely does look like Greenwalls farm.
Interesting to see they also have the Equus Bantock narrow boat on the list.
No sign of HD on there though.

I have enquired whether the vendor has a bill of sale, proof of ownership. Wonder what will come back?

Interesting. I would have thought they would only show you this if you go for a viewing.

You're not asking the right question, . . or questions The vendors, Criminal Boat Services, won't have a BoS, . . why should they have one, they're in effect acting as brokers, . . only the rightful owners will, or can, possess a genuine valid BoS. Brian Clarke, MD of CBS, is the man crook to address any queries to, . . he's the one who's in possession of the stolen goods, . . and he will almost certainly have supplied and instructed the bogus Bailiffs who unlawfully/fraudulently seized them.

Brian Clarke has replied, first email playing thick, saying of course I'd get a bill of sale if I bought it. I replied, repeating the question, does the vendor have a bill of sale or proof of ownership. He said "This boat is being sold by C&RT (the vendor) and as such they will issue you with a bill of sale, I cannot elaborate on this any further, if you are prepared to make a serious offer I will be happy to put you in touch with C&RT directly."
So avoiding the issue.

From CBS's adverts for both craft:-
"We are selling this boat for a third party and as such we cannot give any details on the condition or history."
That wasn't very clever of you, . . was it, Mr Clarke. If, as you have admitted, C&RT are the 3rd party to the sale, . . who are the 1st and 2nd parties, . . in respect of both vessels ?
The above quoted sentence from your advert indicates clearly that neither you, nor your company are either 1st, 2nd or 3rd party to the sale(s), . . so where does that leave you, . . . as the 4th party, . . and therefore obliged to admit to being the 'handler' of stolen goods ?

Isn't he just saying that CBS is a broker and do not own the boat. Vendor, broker, buyer. 3 parties to a transaction. I know you were a lawyer by training but don't forget that the world is populated by laymen.
I suppose it is a bit rude not to disclose my latest occupation:

No, . . look at the sentence quoted from the advert - " We are selling this boat for a third party . . ". The wording used specifically excludes Clarke and CBS from being the 3rd party, . . which would normally be the broker.

Good luck with that, when you get it to court. Perhaps I should have said "asking for my mate and legal advisor Tony Dunkley". I wonder what the response would have been?
