One could have written "Scandinavians" here. It's sounds so much better to write 'Scandis'... as if one knows what they really get up to, despite never having ever visited Scandinavia. It's like adopting the Californian custom of saying "Enjoy!" when presenting someone with their meal, or using the term "reach out" when what you really mean is 'contact'. It all makes one a better, more sophisticated person, don'tcha'know?

The wine was from the night before……. It's so boring at TheUnstableBar so I came back to Thunderboat yet again. As predicted.

It has started snowing, seemingly heavily. Oh crap.

Bit of snow here in Uxbridge in Bucks, not a lot, but enough to cover any icy patches along the towpath. Looks quite pretty under the fleeting moonlight.

Light snow on the Berkshire estate. I hope there isn't mass panic and rail cancellations because of a bit of weather.
Yes, it is snow. And?

There's been more than a little round here. And as usual some drivers are not prepared for it; it's been a decade or so since the last really cold winter and I imagine driving in such conditions is an entirely new experience for some. A rash of accidents have occurred.
So far rail isn't affected by snow (south of Watford anyway) but there are strikes planned, I hear.
ETA a strike is a peculiar situation where 'workers' refuse to 'work' because of being paid too little money.

I can work around the rail strikes. The trains seem ok today so that's good.
I remember the silly snow back in 2010. Always fun looking out for BMW drivers in snow.
The combination of rear wheel drive and general "issues" with driving skills is comedy gold. Also some Mercedes motors.
