I've been using the polyurethane foaming glue lately, sometimes branded as gorilla glue, cheaper own brand versions available. It's similar to the expanding foam, but a runny liquid that foams up a little to fill gaps, sets in 30 mins, waterproof.

I used to use it and gave up after several unexpected failures. I much prefer the sealant-adhesives which have a calculable bond strength, whereas expanding poly-u seems to be brittle and unpredictable.

I am thinking more along this www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162243908633?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITIf it is no good then i will use the regular expanding foam again, does the trick but i am thinking this will be a better adhesive as stated.
