Nice sunny day here so spent an hour washing the boat, I use wash and wax and what a difference it has made to solar power! they didnt look dirty but clearly were filthy. Now if the weather is good tomorrow I will polish the sides for good measure

I find it best waiting until November also as any earlier and you will keep getting annoyed by other people wanting to fill with water.

Not sure I understand ^^^ are you saying you wash your boat at a water point? Is this ok to do? Etiquette wise We've only ever washed ours using buckets of water from the cut whilst moored up and water from our tank to do the windows. Using a water point would be soooooo much easier and quicker.

Hot wash and wax then hosepipe to rinse it down then clean windows try to do it monthly and polish it every couple of months. I painted this boat 4 or 5 years ago and dont want to do it again for a long long time
