Following the encouraging turnout of Boaters at todays March Against Austerity in London (over 250) on the 16/4/16 A Protest is being held at CRT HEADQUARTERS MILTON KEYNES RAILWAY STATION MILTON KEYNES on the 10/5/16 at Midday. This Protest will be against EVICTION OF BOAT DWELLERS,RESTRICTED LICENSES,LOSS OF MOORINGS, LACK OF FACILITIES,AND ANY OTHER ISSUES. This is being organised by the NBTA and I would ask that you attend if you possibly can,I know that many boaters have no axe to grind but hope you appreciate that some attempt at organisation and creating an agenda is being made and I suggest thats maybe not a bad thing.

I'm going. I've bought some smart water and a sprayer to mark any EO's we encounter.

Why not pop over the Irish sea and attend the meeting?

Dont spray water near the NBTAI think most of em are allergic to it... or is that only when there is soap involved as well? Thats a bit unnecessary, don't you think ? You have contributed to some good debate on some of the topics so why be derogatory over some boaters attempting to contribute to the debate also ?

National Bargee Travellers Association, and if you can scroll to my first post you can see why I humbly believe as many Boaters as possible should try and attend. Get yourself a cheap off peak return from New Street and the protest is directly outside Milton Keynes Railway Station where the CRT offices are located. There is a good Wetherspoons about 200 yds up the hill where we can retire to so it can't be a bad day out,I shall buy you a drink as I shall any of my fellow posters here.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to attend this one. But I'd recommend anybody who is concerned about the future of the waterways under crt's managment to go and have a look.
