Why can't we have the vote next week? Why do we have to wait another 8 weeks? Every week is costing us money.

Not sure about a war, but there will be riots whatever the result. It's a no-win situation, the whole referendum is a terrible idea.

I think he realises that apart from trowelling on the fear factor the Ins haven't won any argument for us to remain in the EU,I also believe you can overdo the fear factor where it begins to play against you and this happening now.

Just looking at the news article, and he actually says 'would' not 'could' which takes it to a new level of scare mongering

What has happened to Sir Stuart Rose who is in charge of the IN Campaign, he if you remember made the statement that wages would go up as a result of BREXIT and was never seen again.

Every argument about finances, jobs, trade deals, and security, and all the rest is irrelevant, because we cannot buy back or vote back our soverinity from an undemocratic European single state.
You are either voting for freedom or slavery.

Still the biggest problem with this debate/referendum is we've got no idea what the post exit plan is or what it means. The treasury numbers in the OP are laughable, they can't even predict next quarters economy let alone the consequences of leaving the EU.
For me still it's a no brainer, the EU is an undemocratic organisation run for the benefit of capital at the expense of the working class. Smash it up and let's see what comes of that.

People shouldn't be given a choice ? Correct. At least not while the media are churning out bullshit to sway people's opinion. (in either direction) I don't think the British public are well enough informed on the subject to make the decision and will vote based on the bullshit and lies that has been fed to them.

Your last line is the reason I am delighted you contribute to the Thunderboat, clear as crystal, provocative as a pair of thigh boots and as relevant as the oxygen we breathe. The working man in this country is going nowhere within the EU and the Treasury is simply unfit for purpose wilfully refusing to provide an alternative financial narrative for life outside the EU but instead quite happy to predict Armageddon should we leave. The TUC position in this is also a strange one with some spurious rubbish about loosing workers rights should we leave, why isn't this rubbish being challenged ?we have the curious position of the TUC standing shoulder to shoulder with Cameron an unhealthy alliance if ever I saw one.Who is going to deny our workers parity with European ones,Cameron and the Tories,Labour and Corbyn, who ?
