I'm guessing you're the racist waste of skin formerly known as SS? Yes, I had to choose a different user name on this forum because one of your fellow travellers registered the user name "southernstar", on this forum before I joined, set a photo of Donald Trump as his avatar, and posted one or two inane racist posts, purporting to be my writing. Of course, everybody saw through this in an instant, before I had even joined. On the thread concerned, opinion seemed to be split 50/50 whether this was you or Wanted. I'm undecided because it it hard to tell which one of you is the more idiotic and "right-on". Still, no worries, you have come round to the correct way of thinking for working class people, welcome along at last. We'll be singing from the same song sheet come referendum day. You're of no interest to me at all an this is my first and only account on this forum. As for "at long last", I've told you before, I was rioting in Dublin on Mayday in when heads of state met to celebrate the 2004 expansion long before there any immigrants for you to get your tiny racist mind in a lather about.

Donald Trump as your avatar fucking hilarious[/quote] Especially hilarious since I had already said in a previous CWDF post that although the US elections were none of my business, Hillary Clinton would be my preferred choice as the next president. I welcome Sabcat here, just so long as he can understand that Thunderboat is a very lightly moderated forum and clicking the "report" button to say "Miss, miss, miss, he's a racist waste of skin!" isn't going to get another person's views deleted.

Disagree with the comparison on Sabcat and Wanted. Whilst both of them hold far left ideology and support violence to attempt to bring this about that's where the similarity ends.
Sabcat often discussed issues with those with different opinions. Wanted on the other hand, appeared to see himself as some kind of moral demigod; the sole arbiter of good and bad. As such, could only sneer and snarl at those who thought differently to him.

Well, it is true that Wanted supports an "open-borders" policy whereas Sabcat opposes inter-eu migration I suppose. So in that sense they are diametrically opposed. Where they do have enormous similarities is that both of them appear to be incapable of expressing their viewpoints in a reasoned and logical way, presuming that shouting "racist" is going to be their argument killer.

The EU want to take semi-automatic weaponry (including shotguns) out of the hands of responsible, intelligent working and middle class people across all of Europe. The reason for this is a "knee-jerk' and crass reaction post the Paris attacks - when anyone worth their salt knows that most 'terrorist weaponry ' comes from ex-war torn and collapsed states across the former Eastern block. For instance, an AK47 could be bought in Romania and much of the former Balkans States for as little as £25 equivalent.
Meanwhile, watch the power of the silent majority vote here in the UK...

You're 15 years out of date. Weapons from the Balkan states used to be a ten penny but stability, for now, reigns. Weapons are not available as they once were. It's one of the reasons that gangs in the UK are using antique weapons and modified replicas, no quick trips to Amsterdam to get tooled up any more.

You think that a British government independent from the EU wouldn't do the same? See their over reaction to Dunblane and the recent ban on psychoactive substances for reference...

On the contrary Sabcat - the weapons those terrorist cells used in Paris were sourced without doubt from Ex-balkan armouries on the Black Market. 15 years is neither here, nor there. A cell passing through from Syria for instance.. It Doesn't change the mindset - taking weapons out of the hands of responsible people is a crass and knee jerk exercise. I agree with all your reasons for leaving, but the peripheral, less pertinent ones still stand as well. Shotguns were'nt banned after Cumbria for good reason - the EU has in effect 'shot itself in the foot' mooting as such and the Sporting/Countryside lobby in this country is an NRA equivalent..

The gun laws post Dunblane and Hungerford (especially Hungerford) were good decisions on the part of both Tory administrations.

Not sure how you can think that and then be against them restricting shotguns.

Not sure how you can think that and then be against them restricting shotguns. Why?? Because I have no reason to shoot centre fire, military weapons at a clay target, vermin or rough targets. A shotgun on clays, as a hobby - that's entirely different in my book..

Ah, so you are only concerned about dumb laws when they affect you personally...

Ah, so you are only concerned about dumb laws when they affect you personally... Don't 'dumb laws' affect us all personally in some ways?? Give me your example of a dumb law!?! I'm not voting OUT because of the EU'S stance on Firearms post the Paris attacks - but it's damn well 20% of it.
