Personally, I'd like to see the people of the UK stand up to the banking cartels and multi-national corporations that speculate with the future of entire nations. That aside, it seems hard to fathom how EU membership is of much benefit to the average UK citizen, particularly as it relates to immigration.
I'd be particularly concerned about the way the EU is handling Turkey's application for membership. They should have told Erdogan to fuck off when he turned the first shovel of dirt for his new palace. How the EU governing body can allow Turkey's application to continue as if all is normal when Turkey is now ruled by a genocidal dictator is beyond me. That is sheer idiocy!

Disagree with the comparison on Sabcat and Wanted. Whilst both of them hold far left ideology and support violence to attempt to bring this about that's where the similarity ends. Well, it is true that Wanted supports an "open-borders" policy whereas Sabcat opposes inter-eu migration I suppose. So in that sense they are diametrically opposed. Where they do have enormous similarities is that both of them appear to be incapable of expressing their viewpoints in a reasoned and logical way, presuming that shouting "racist" is going to be their argument killer. They are not going to kill any argument here by shouting Rascist.Sabcat can have a Tendency not to express things so that Joe Public can readily understand but as Politics is his 'Thing" this is not unusual.Having said that, when I have chided or questioned Sabcat for a more easily understood answer or viewpoint,he has been both reasoned and logical and polite as well so I speak as I find.

Ah, so you are only concerned about dumb laws when they affect you personally... Dumb Laws when they affect you personally ? Several posts above you make that very same Personal Argument for remaining in the EU some bollocks about "you being able to move freely"

Not sure how you can think that and then be against them restricting shotguns. Why?? Because I have no reason to shoot centre fire, military weapons at a clay target, vermin or rough targets. A shotgun on clays, as a hobby - that's entirely different in my book.. It is totally different and I agree with you.Everyone I meet has a negative experience of EU interference in their affairs and I hope your organisation has some clout to effect some change.Where it all possibly falls down is if you have any farmers in your ranks because I don't believe they would ever vote Out.

After the failure of the EU quota system to solve the refugee crisis Turkey has become a central plank for the (illegal) plan to deal with that crisis. Turkey won't become an EU member, not in it's present form but Erdogan knows the power he has.

I heard this on Radio 4 the other day that Turkey has met about 1 of over 30 requirements for EU membership and that involved something as mundane as Education for all. Its a Geopolitical Game where Turkey prostitutes itself on the EU behalf for benefits.

One interesting thing about Turkey, for all the human rights are protected by the EU crowd, they signed up to the ECHR in 1954 and joined the Council of Europe in 1950. Not really worth much, that treaty. What Erdogan is doing is gaining international legitimacy with his EU deal and, if the EU come through, visa free travel into Schengen by June for Turks. All of this could unravel very quickly though, the Turkish prime minister and long time ally of Erdogan has resigned, effectively forced out by Erdogan for failure to back constitutional changes. This is either the end of Erdogan or the end of Turkish democracy.

Gordon Brown has been wheeled out today to support the IN argument,it must be desperate times when you have to wheel a politician who has even been rejected in Scotland out to make an argument. Surely Brown must rank as one of the biggest Political Disasters in Modern Times?
