"Tara Palmer-Tomkinson (23 December 1971 – 8 February 2017) also known as T P-T, was an English socialite, "it girl", television presenter, model and charity patron." Does not take long for Wikipedia to change 'is' to 'was'! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tara_Palmer-Tomkinson

I bought the box set of Steptoe & Son DVDs four years back, it's really very good, a lot better than many programmes on TV these days. "Harry H. Corbett died of a heart attack in March 1982 in Hastings, East Sussex. He was 57 years old. He is buried alongside his wife, in the churchyard at Penhurst, East Sussex." "Wilfred Brambell died of cancer at his home in Westminster, London, aged 72 on the 18th of January 1985. Only a handful of people attended his funeral. He was cremated on 25 January 1985 at Streatham Park Cemetery, where his ashes were scattered."
If any Thunderboater is interested in having this box set for free, I could bring it over in Summer. I've finished with it.

Breaking sad news. The former it girl Tara Palmer Tomkinson was found dead after a year long battle with a brain tumour. She didn't have a brain tumour, she had a pituitary tumour, specifically a prolactinoma. Same as me. The tumour is benign and doesn't kill you (its not the most fun thing to have before it is treated though). Her death was described by the police as "unexplained" www.pituitary.org.uk/news/2017/02/tara-palmer-tomkinson-death/
