No, I didn't mistype that, I didn't mean 'Glue foreskin'....I know full well what you lot are like! ๐๐
A pal of mine has just come out of hospital after having his appendix out, he showed me the scar where they had glued, not stitched the wound together...All seemed ok upto now!๐
Serious question, have any of you experience of๏ปฟ using dermatologically safe super glue on small skin wounds, if so, what did you use, and would you recommend it, is it worth carrying a small tube in the first aid kit?
๏ปฟ (I know that in the Vietnam war they just used ordinary super glue and I suppose if you're in the jungle, covered in blood n shite, anythings good, but its use is not recommended nowadays! )
Whats your thoughts on the practicalities of gluing small, boaty type wounds?

I know someone who has been stabbed a couple of times, nothing bad just little wounds, he likes to get into trouble!
He swears by normal household superglue, never bothered going to the hospital.

I've always just used whatever superglue I have to hand. Works well and never caused me any problems.

definatly put some in the first aid kit, it has many uses.
the proper stuff peels off in 5 to 7 days.
we have it for wild camping as it also seals the cut up preventing infection.

Even in the 1960s there was some kind of spray-on 'skin'. A sort of plastic covering that could be sprayed over stitches. I believe I had some applied to my forehead (ran into mantlepiece in living room).

Sikaflex is good for sticking broken bones together.

Sikaflex is good for sticking broken bones together. Trouble with Sikaflex is its a real pain to get excess off clothes etc. Theres a real risk of ruining a really good ยฃ30 pair of jeans if you happened to slip whilst repairing a snapped fibula!

That's why all my jeans come from charity shops at about ยฃ6 a pop.
The number of perfectly good Levi 501s I have wrecked would have bankrupted me if I had bought them new !!

The number of perfectly good Levi 501s I have wrecked would have bankrupted me if I had bought them new !! Lets get real here ๐.... I dont want to cast aspersions upon the honesty of your posts but if you were made bankrupt, that would of involved you having to dispose of your Monaco based super-yacht (estimate value by your description cยฃ2.6 million) I make that to equate to approximately 42500 pairs of 501's Now I would imagine from your posting style you are approximately 42 y/o so that would mean you would have to repair broken bones in your legs upwards of 3 times a day since you were born!! Not even a fully trained and active Mi6 operative could manage that! You must think we are stupid!๐

I can't see the point in buying new clothes when they get dirty so fast. Washing machines can't keep up and even my clothes boiler doesn't really sort it.
I don't like buying anything new. I prefer someone else takes the initial depreciation if they wish and I can have it for its actual value rather than some overinflated price.
