Saw this boat today (if Stumpy will load the photos).
It was dated 1968.
I wondered if you cruiser experts could tell me what type of boat it is.
I had hoped to chat to the owner, but the boat had moved off on my return.

1968? A narrow boat?
Wood? Steel? GRP? Aluminium ?

Patience is a virtue. Uploading photos is too, but I haven't mastered it yet Rog

Dobson's of Shardlow. Or is it a Morgan Giles mariner perhaps.

Key is in the word "cruiser" so its not a normal narrow boat.
Its unusual for boats to have their build date displayed. I think Dawncraft started around that time and some other GRP cruisers.
If it is a splitter then gazza is probably the person to identify it, or johnv.

Looks pretty good for a 50 year old pleasure narrow boat.
