I need to have a parcel (about 15kg of classified documents in a 600mm L x 400mm D plastic tube). No need for insurance as the shipment needs to be carried out quietly without any suspicion. Its going to be a collection ie door to door as the sender does not wish to draw attention by visiting a post office. I wondered about parcelforce and came across a webshite called parcelhero which seemed to have some good deals. Does anyone have any useful advice for this sort of thing. Even if its just shipping car parts its still OK as the general idea is to make this highly sensitive shipment look as everyday as possible. Thanks

I would have thought this sort of thing would be covered in your MI5/6 training.

Why can't you put it on a narrowboat and have it sent up the cut? Are you sending your dirty underwear to the launderette?

www.myhermes.co.uk bit rough and ready but they use local people in ordinary vehicles to pick up and deliver, no marked vans or surveillance cameras in the back. The intelligence agencies cant detect or track them because there are usually chickens nesting between the parcels. Chicken shit is a natural blocker for gps devices and micro chips usually just bounce into the wheel arches. The problem is that the myhermes bloke knows me. He is a very reliable (100%) courier but he knows my name and he even knows which is my car which is a bit awkward.

Thanks Whatever you do, DON'T use a courier company called DPD. I don't know if DPD stands for Doubtful (your) Parcel (will ever be) Delivered , . . but it certainly should.

Well somewhere in the great delivery system there is 4 kg of Biltong...it failed to arrive..it may arrive at some point though not sure what I'll do with it now the boys have gone Greenland. The first 2kg arrived here in Swansea via Glasgow coming from Chester way...so dunno what parcel company that one was but best to be avoided. Ive had problems with several...one company parked in my layby, outside my house and tried to deliver to the guy just down the road instead of me..as the parcel was for son(different surname) the old chap said he didn't know him. The delivery man walked past my house to take the parcel away and signed it off as delivered...it wasn't..it came 2 days later after I'd chased it up.... There are only 3 cottages in our row 1,2 and 3..the road has 3 number 1's..it can confuse.
So reliable delivery force?..take it yourself....

£700 and I'll collect and deliver, UK mainland only. No guns, drugs are okay, its nice to share. Highlands would be extra, just because its a bleeding long way from London to Ecclefechan. Ecclefechan isn’t in the Highlands.

Back in the late 70s I was a motorcycle courier. Well it was still called despatch riding then. Looking back I wonder whether I innocently delivered dodgy stuff unknowingly. I used a Kawasaki Z400 and an MZ250. In the end, I borrowed my dads BMW as the above bikes didn’t like the abuse (nor good choices in hindsight!).

I guess everyone's experience is different, probably because all drivers sre different but I've found DPD OK. Twice now they've found me when moored on the towpath.
