I know you'll be surprised to learn that I'm not desperately good with tecno stuff, so maybe I've accidentally done something to my tablet. I'll try and have a dig about (get Jane to show me what's wrong) if it's not a new pro board thing. Thanks Rog Me either. You need to teach it a lesson with one of these. π¨π¨π¨π¨π¨π¨π¨π¨ Hey! I wondered where my 2nΔ best hammer collection had gone. Phil

Well I went out for a couple of hours, and just popped back in to see what happened. It's not logged me out Perhaps it's healed itself. Rog

Staying logged on requires the cookie to remain, so if you have changed settings to delete cookies when the browser closes or if you have used - maybe in error - βprivate browserβ pages then when you close your browser it will log you off.

Thank you.
I'm not totally sure what any of that means, so if I have done any of the above it was inadvertently.
However I've just picked up the tablet again, and I wasn't logged out.

If itβs an iPad the top of the screen where it says thunderboat.boards.net is grey in normal mode and dark grey in private mode.

Rog - do you ever delete your browsing history and cookies and stuff like that? You should, any time you can. This will mean you will also lose the connection to Thunderboat, but signing yourself isn't that difficult, surely?

My Samsung tablet allows me to go straight to the forum pages each time I open the internet app up, unless I delete my browsing history as per above.

I never log off here, and I've always been logged in when I return.
But suddenly this week, when I come back I have to log in.
It's not difficult, but I just wondered why suddenly it's changed.
I'm guessing something along the lines of what chewey said is happening.
No big deal, just couldn't (and can't ) get a handle on what I'm suddenly doing different.
