Yea it seems perfect, might need a newer outboard though. It's got what looks like a seagull, see if it works or not

The great thing about a Seagull is that there is damn all to go wrong and the only tools you need are a hammer and a pair of pliers (and arm muscles like an olympic athlete ) (I also love the way it starts in gear so you have to control the choke, control the throttle, turn round so you can see what you are about to hit and try and sit down without unbalancing the boat ....... all at the same time )

I had a penchant for the old Vosper MTB Mk I, mahogany diagonal planked, 3 1400bhp Packard petrol engines. The Oilykans and Torpedoes were just an added bonus.
Not many about now although Jem Bates did rebuild something similar a few years ago.

I think the only way I'd have a wooden boat wood be to cover it in Cooper shingles. I reckon it wood be easier to look after. Just take it out and brush it off every now and again. If I'd be tempted by a wooden fishing boat covered in Cooper shingles.
