I want to know how the voting is going to be organised. Probably best and simplest if all the entries are posted on this thread, then assembled in a new post after the competition closing date, with a poll option? Exactly as MJG did it if I recall correctly. Even a technical Wally like me can cope with following that

I still think there is some mileage in foxy's anonymous photo competition because it has the potential to be unbiased in terms of the forum "user base" and would be purely a judgement of the picture rather than for the person who took it.
I think its a fair point.
I'm not really bothered as nothing I enter will get many votes anyway but it does seem to me to be quite an interesting topic.
I'm a bit surprised how much agro it has caused. Do people view this as important ?

We have two competitions running in parallel, with very different rules. The best thing to do is to see which attracts the most entries and run any future competition on that format.

It is peculiar, though, how Jenlyn got around to setting his up just a day after I offered to organise the competition. It does make one wonder why he didn't set his up weeks ago when people were asking about the competition.

Well, obviously the alternative competition was set up when it became obvious that the general consensus of the forum was that the rules of the original competition were not to their liking. You received an enormous amount of feedback about this but chose to ignore it so what do you expect?

As I stated earlier, stop behaving like a child, and grow up. You don't need to prove further how stupid and pathetic you can be. Do one.

It’s annoying that when I link to a picture in Google Drive that it won’t embed the photo when you insert it here. All you see is the link.
Is there a way of getting around this, or do I need to sign up to something else to do it?
HORRAY! Sorted it. I was struggling because you need to get into desctop view on the phone to see the insert image button.

Put your photos up. Closing date 20th November 2018. The two rules are, 1. Photos must be your own ( not pinched from elsewhere ) 2. Only 2 entries per profile please. A poll will be the decider at the end of the competition. I trust none of you will cheat in voting by using dummy profiles. It just dawned on me that instead of having a poll at the end date, you could just see which one has the most likes. That way we can effectively vote for multiple pics. You can unlike something if you change your mind too.

Much like FB really Bugger, just realised I like nearly all of the photos so far so maybe you’re right to have a poll at the end to force us into making a decision in the end.

The problem with a poll, though, is that all of the 'dormant' members can suddenly have a vote. Sometimes one just has to take a chance on the honesty and integrity of TB members.
