Put your feet up and reflect upon the fact that your competition failed because you used the excuse that you were organising it to impose totally unnecessary rules, and the membership were both unable and unwilling to comply with these rules, and learn from this mistake should you decide to organise a photo competition in the future. |

You really can't see it can you?, we live our lives having to abide by rules and regulations, no one, or very few in this case want to have ridiculous rules imposed on them for a competition that is meant to be a bit of fun. |

Its also a case of you dont see it either...whilst people may not be snapping to Foxys 'official' competition, its fair to say people have indeed been "slapping up photos" The competition has legs. Yes people have been posting photos, were they taken this year with this completion in mind and not posted anywhere else? |

Does it matter? Has it not already been proved the 'rules' killed the horse. I suppose some just enjoy the flog. I think so, I've got, what I think are some good pictures from foxton locks that I took this time last year. I'd probably have entered one of them in the competition but I posted them on a forum for arborists that I'm a member of, and I certainly didn't have foxy's completion in mind, three rules broken, but I doubt very much anyone here would have seen them before. |

Has anyone seen a copy of THE RULES, can't find them anywhere, I'm sure I saw them posted somewhere once? Christmas spirit and all that, I might even post a pic, if I can comply. Are THE RULES complicated?
