I think I'm still quite sprightly at 61..I scramble up and down rocky slopes, climb trees use Fab, Brill and Ace..I'm willing to have a go at challenges and i hope I don't get tired of doing stuff thats supposed to be age related... Went Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, brought a wristband and went on the Carousel, small rollercoaster a fairy story ride through the tales of Hans Christian Anderson and a few others... Think young and you'll stay young.... I don't wear mini skirts any more but do have some rather interesting shoes that family deem not appropriate for my age..... So as for slowing down at 70 and avoiding making gaffs...nah..carry on as long as you can. “rather interesting shoes that family deem not appropriate for my age”. I am intrigued as to what makes them so inappropriate, please tell us more......

I can relate to that, mine have ‘views’ on what is reasonable for me to wear. Sometimes too young for me but mainly because I am not old enough, examples - I must not tuck a casual shirt into my trousers (makes me look old) and worst of all are the braces I now wear with my diy trousers as I have lost weight and they fall down if I don’t.

Your family do too much Deeming. Who's the Mummy round there. Deem that they hush up and respect their elders.
