I much preferred my Corgi driving school car with the big red button on the top which allowed you total control - no hair, no lippy β¦. Just for you...

I've never had anything as luxurious or amazing as a Shania but I was given a Barbie doll as a child - its hair "grew" - until I chopped it off every time you pushed the sprout button - I was mortified when it didn't come back again. I much preferred my Corgi driving school car with the big red button on the top which allowed you total control - no hair, no lippy β¦. Are you sure that wasn't a Tressy doll?Tagline was-'Her hair grows'.I worked with a stunning black teacher who changed her hair a few times a week.I nicknamed her Tressy as her hair went from short to long to short to long to short to long etc.She was a stunner & still answers to Tressy π

They brought out some scary "dolls" in the 60s - my sister had "tipsy tumble" which absolutely terrified my baby brother - he still has nightmares now x

Never allowed bad girl Barbie with her tiny waist n boobs.. had to settle for Sindy . My mum just hated Barbie and my daughter does as well. TBH I never really got into the doll craze. My dolls pram used to cart bricks from one end of the garden to the other. Loved big brothers Meccano not that the meany let me play. I think mum dispaired of me ... she wanted 2 dress up twins for the twee look... hair in ringlets, pretty identical dresses... and she got meπ. Little sis complied more but neither of us wanted the novelty dress up show case look that mum aspired to
