its no bad thing that they r keeping u in...I was supposed to have someone staying post couple of mine as my BP plummeted but there was no-one as I'd arranged to be collected and pretended that my lifts were stopping..... in hindsight twas bit silly... In all honesty, if I'd known what the result on the answer to the qusetion if I was alone on board would have been to be kept for the night, I would have told them that a couple of nice young girls were looking after me (dreams are my reality ). Peter. I always tell them what they want to hear..... u have to reassure the medical profession...

When I had my scope they were adamant that I stayed in overnight. The hospital experience was excellent. I find it best to be compliant, they first give you a choice, and if you chose the "wrong" option, they move the goalposts!

Probably depends on individual trusts and protocol..I found that being a nurse gives the impression you know whats what.....

As you were in the profession, you knew what they wanted to hear, but myself not being used to their tricks, being naïve and honest, I told them the truth. I will have to search on the net if there are videos about how to become a liar in 5 minutes or less, in case there are questions asked for other tests and treatments. Peter.

Problems with lying is u have to have a good memory to do it... I never really told outrageous fibs... just didn't go into ..what I saw as unnecessary detail.....to much info clogs up the NHS... The other issue is ..guess I knew what post procedure symptoms to ignore and how to deal with the low BP..
