Do we have any morons here on Thunderboat? moron /ˈmɔːrɒn/ Origin early 20th century (as a medical term denoting an adult with a mental age of about 8–12): from Greek mōron, neuter of mōros ‘foolish’. Yup. I can just about fit that def as I do have a mental age of 12 when boating.

Bus drivers can't afford to be one hour late Well aware of the clocks going forwards here. I'm good with the smartphone I don't have a sundial and the cooker is firmly in the domain of the resident raven haired domestic goddess so that just leaves the car clock and that's just what I do with it..... leave it. We left home at 6.30am yesterday (Saturday) to walk to the station to return to the boat. Just before leaving I remembered the change in the clocks and decided to adjust the timer lights as we'll not be back until the second week of April. At this point my lovely wife, on seeing what I was doing, suggested I may as well alter all the clocks too, so they're correct when we get home. Jane absolutely insisted the clocks go back, and despite my better judgement, I put them all back an hour. Arriving at the boat in Stafford she exclaimed loudly "I'm wrong!" which in itself is rare. She'd realised I had been right all along Unlike our clocks at home that will now be 2 hours out when we arrive home. Rog

Sorry about the Americanism but it helps remember the mnemonic.

I didn't wear a watch until a few days ago when I received my late father's super cool Seiko. He never wore it. I've been trying to get it off him since I was about 6 as it is too cool First Japan LCD watch imported to UK ~1976. I love it. This morning I changed the hour. Wicked. That's staying on my wrist where it should have been since 1980 rather than in a drawer. Mind you it would not have survived me using it to be fair maybe drawer was the right place.
