I always thought we in the West would have to make some compromises to accept the growth of the global village. However should this be at the expense of losing our native culture and losing control to those who just want to turn their billions into trillions? (most of whom don’t even live in the U.K.)
I guess some may say videos like this incite racial hatred. Well so long as those pulling the strings are safe, why would they care if we fling shit at eachother? Classic divide and conquer at work.
Very good video, one which Jim should watch...but probably won’t...

What is this "native culture" of which you speak? Ah, I see your problem now. You want everyone to be the same. People enjoy visiting other countries because they have their own ‘native cultures’. I mean, who’d go to Spain, drink Red Barrel (remember that?) and eat fish ‘n chips?

What is this "native culture" of which you speak? well it's mostly gone now ..... the rot started in 1888 when they moved the whole of Todmorden into Yorkshire. I mean at one time there were songs about the thriving culcher of Lancasherns but they are all in the past now I mean once they used to sing how "In Bacup now they do it grand, they can do the turkey trot with a cowheel in each hand" but now you can't even buy a decent pair of clogs. Shameful

What now? I think most of it has gone, all but in the minds of our tourist friends. The Londoners who defined our London culture were driven out by greed years ago. Any culture which is left is more of a business venture than from the heart. We’ve still got our monarchy I suppose, but that wouldn’t have lasted long if we sucked up to your EU state. Fortunately Trump thinks our monarchy is very quaint so there is still hope. It’s all this PC nonsense from the EU which has turned us into zombies. We used to say what we think, now we are too scared to for the threat of being labelled as an ‘...ist’. At least the French still have some balls.

A lot of it is like this: www.rotherhambugle.com/2019/06/13/folic-acid-to-be-added-to-lambert-butlers-in-barnsley/But seriously, the right-wing is constantly pushing the line we are being 'replaced'. I grew up in the midlands and frankly a high degree of ethnic / asian population seems to me like normality. Is it because there is a rise in the asian population of London? It often seems to me this is another aspect of the media perception of London as representative of the entire country. At least that was one myth exploded by the referendum that surely even Jim cannot dispute...take cover... The rise in xenophobia is scary.
