That would be a bugger quaysider. We passed an ABC hire boat yard at Whitchurch ... chatting to one of their guys, he's been made to understand the work force will be back by the end of June and hiring will commence in early July ... provided there is no 'second spike shut down'. Where do you need to get to, and by what date ? Rog

Rog everyone has cancelled up to cruise 14 now which is from Ellesmere Port on 22nd July... it's dooable but I HAD hoped to get to a couple of trips to LLangollen up on the site from 1st July when we'd escaped from Skipton ... social distancing measures (as best we can) included... I really need Boris to follow WHO guidance and get it down to 1 metre and then we CAN operate...I'm missing an awful lot of money and just building debts... .but I won't moan about it any more on here. Today is a Non drinking day too after yesterdays bender ... hmmmf

Today is a Non drinking day too after yesterdays bender ... hmmmf Today is also a non drinking day here..I allowed yesterday's problems to overload..can live with condemned cooker...can live with the section of rising damp(well I've had a go at sorting) ...the hole in the bath saw the non vino resolution go with the non existent breeze out there...I think when the glass shower thing fell it obviously cracked the bath and over time the crack is now a hole. I do not have any tubes of stuff used to waterproof on Ants van so to-day I've mixed up Epoxy glue and filled the hole....when thats dry I'm using this thick waterproof tape over the top(already used that to hold part of the front door together and seems to weather the weather)..,Chatted to daughter she wants me to rip all the bathroom out, have it micro cemented then walk in shower/wet room..I do not want the mess of all that. Tiles are all fine...what I think I want is to keep tiles/existing shower and get rid bath and just have walk in shower..then source same tiles and tile bits that'll be uncovered when bath goes....alternatively if glue holds with forget all about it..still have to get the hinges though...

Resist the wet room option lovely that your daughter makes it sound. We have one and trust me it matters not a jot all the fancy reasons for a wet room there will come a time (years away in your case) when age and infirmity makes a bath a much better choice......... you can't beat a good soak. Phil
