Cheers - It's just another day - the only thing missing will be mum phoning and singing happy birthday as she did every year since I 'left home'... dad won't remember or be able to bring himself to. Miserable day but having had a phone conversation with the business chappy last night (he phoned me following on from my email offering to send the keys of my house for them to pay the mortgage), they are going to try and be flexible with an hour here and there - assuming someone is around - so getting down Barrowford by the end of day 1 might be dooable... if not, we're going to be kayaking between chorley and wigan for 2 weeks .
