Maybe ..... but only when it's posted somewhere else ..... I refuse to go there
I'm presently, proudly wearing my new "Banned from CWDF" Tee shirt)
I love the Thunderboat logo polo shirt as well. I might invest in a hoody when they get the XL size in stock
(It'll be the first time I've worn one coz always considered them a uniform of yoof)

I still refuse to go there as the forum is "owned" by an unprincipled twat

I didn't get a hoodie till a couple of years ago. I'm completely converted. They are both so warm and cosy. Really comfortable too but they are quite thick and soft. Sometimes I like to put the hood up to look all shifty in shops.

I’m looking forward to going on Fusedale H when she starts running, I’ll hopefully get the Humber and Ouse added to my BML. Farndale H has completed its first run carrying 350 tonnes of sand. 450 was the target but there’s a couple of spots need dredging. I haven’t read the CWF piece so apologies if I’m repeating stuff.

Yesterday two loaded gravel barges left Hull bound for Leeds, the Fusedale H and the Farndale H.
Unfortunately not completely full loads due to the canal not being at it's stipulated maintained depth.
This is the kind of problem that can make or break a project, every 50 tons they are unable to load makes a big dent in the earnings of the barge.
All of their costs remains the same but each and every shortfall in their earnings pushes it closer and closer to non economic.
Considering how many years they have been unable to work their condition is a testament to how well they have been kept and the faith of some that carrying is possible.
Too many owners have lost the hope that BW/CRT would help return trading to the waterways and sold their barges for houseboats or had them broken up or just left them somewhere to rot away.
Why oh why do we have to have a navigation authority that has so little interest in navigation

Why indeed John! is it because they would prefer weirs instead of locks and cycle rides instead of boats answers on a pin head please

I got invited on the Fusedale H but unfortunately I’m up to my eyes in Bss work. I’m going to keep next week free and hopefully hitch a ride.
