Anyone can start and run their own forum Foxy... Many people think that Christmas is about drinking, over-eating and exchanging tacky gifts. They will never be convinced by any scientific advice. I love my family too much to put any of them at risk, or put them through the anxiety and worry of getting sick myself. This Christmas, love and care will be the best present we can exchange. Is that an original statement from you?..or a cut n paste from elsewhere? I actually agree with it.....

Here's another:
" Covid anti-vaxxers should face action for spreading false information that 'could cost lives', Britain's top counter-terror officer says. Met Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu said 'misinformation could cost lives' "
"He is said to be interested in the area because Islamist and far-Right groups use false Covid-19 claims to groom recruits." (eh? how does that work?)
"It comes in the wake of the Labour Party proposing emergency legislation for fines and criminal penalties for social media firms that keep false Covid posts up.
On Monday Health Secretary Matt Hancock slammed more than 300 NHS workers and care home staff for joining an 'anti-vaxxer' group.
He branded Facebook page NHS Workers for Choice, No Restrictions for Declining a Vaccine 'entirely inappropriate'."
"anti-vaccine conspiracy theories are running rampant on social media sites – despite a promise by tech giants to halt their spread.
Meanwhile a survey found four out of five Britons want those who spread fake news about vaccines to face prosecution." - (what survey?)
However:
"Another nail in the coffin of free speech, what about politicians who blatantly lie, are they going to be fined or jailed?"
"He needs to be removed from the police. This isn't a Middle Eastern police state with a feared secret police. He obviously hasn't left that mentality behind him."
"What he is suggesting is that free speech is suppressed. Anti Vaxxers might be talking nonsense, but they have that right. A better argument is the best defence, not banning what can be said."
"The truth does not fear inspection - so why does it?"
