andrew (No capitals please as I have psychological issues around capitals - deeply embedded from early childhood) Anyway. Does this forum do general boating topics or is it just a big winge about the other place we are not allowed to mention ? I think you are mixing thunderboat up with cwdf as your allowed to mention cwdf here although it's known as "the tufty club" sorry for calling you Alan, but at least I got the first letter right. Post what you want, it's just at the minute this cross forum stuff is getting interesting. Oh sorry I thought anyone mentioning CanalWorld was liable to be blocked forthwith. I must have got the wrong end of the stick. Again.

I think cds/haulierP had aa couple of post removed - posts that could have compromised the future of the site and despite requests not to be a fucking helmet by several. He then had one of several flounces. That's about it, can't remember if Nutter (cwdf agitator) posts were left to stand to shine a light on what being a knob head looks like. Maybe someone else can remember?

You did mention that Richard was in the conversation. What's it like being called a monster Nick, I mean I would have said you are a lot of things but not a monster π It was "a bit of a monster" but they didn't say which bit so I'm confused! But yes, it's not very nice is it. Don't worry I'm not sobbing but it does highlight the hypocrisy of the fluffy bunnies!

I didn't think it would worry you really, but yes I agree there are a few people looking very hypocritical over there.

Yes - can I ask a question - how does it work?  I understand how rivets, screws and glue work - but not welding. Magic Depends on process and material. It's a huge engineering discipline, with diverse applications. To scratch the surface of a big subject Types of fusion welding. an Automatic process Friction - where two components are an interference fit then spun to fuse the parts together, rear axles were commonly manufactured like this. MMA, stick or arc welding about the most basic in terms of gear, a goid MMA welder will always be good at other processes. MIG/MAG, semi automatic process that has massively increased productivity at the expense of some skill. TIG/TAG, crème de la crème of welding, top TIG/TAG welders earn the big money and can create welds bordering on works of art. Oxy fuel, old hat, beloved by bobble hat wearing car restorer's. Balls to it, it's bath and bedtime for the dwarf, gen up on wiki while I'm gone. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_welding_processes

Thanks Phil I realised that but other than that this forum seems to have little content. Just sayin' Well cwdf has been going 14 years, thunderboat has been going just over 6 months, and doing very well I must say.

Thanks Phil I realised that but other than that this forum seems to have little content. Just sayin' This crossed my mind a few days ago, taken a while to get to the verbalisation zone. If someone has provided an answer to a question on cwf, can't it be copied and posted over here. I mean teccy/boat stuff, not "is GD a twat?" , we know the answer to that one!

Thanks Phil I realised that but other than that this forum seems to have little content. Just sayin' There is a 'waterways and Boating' section containing hundreds of threads and thousands of posts. Feel free to add to it...

Well it seems on the other site that its "he said she said" no offence to GG but it seems pointless just tossing a small snippet of info.I think it just causes the he said she said syndrome. The only way to end them saying its a conspiracy and to out them is to put the whole conversation with names removed or to not put anything at all. Just my thoughts and GG is at liberty to do what is best suited to her

Charging and its problems
Generators portable and Installed
Batteries How many are needed and why
Thoughts?
