Where abouts are you?
If in the UK, maybe TB members can start compiling a list of all the Covid rules you have broken...

The difference is that she made the rules, told the police to enforce the rules and then fine those that don’t keep her rules. So this time I think it’s a case of apologies accepted. But she should be fined, and we should consider the matter closed.

Look what happened to Cummings. I know we all make mistakes sometimes, but she is suppposed be a leader and leaders should lead by example, especially when they define the rules.

"Nicola Sturgeon spotted at a pub wake without wearing a face mask, breaking her own Covid rules - as Scotland faces full lockdown." 'By flouting the rules and failing to set a proper example, she's undermining essential public health messaging. It's a piss-take that an ordinary member of the public wouldn't get away with. There cannot be one rule for Nicola Sturgeon and another for everyone else. Anyone breaching face mask rules could face a fine of £60, with penalties for repeat offences doubling all the way up to £960." Source: the newspaper the Badger reads. that is literally yesterday's news.
you are so old hat ........................ "something tediously familiar or outdated".
you make no comment, just tell us what we already know. a proper waste of oxygen and webspace. boring .......................

You're not overkeen on her are you Nick? No, she is a dangerous fascist. Dangerous because she is very good at public speaking and conning her electorate. It depresses me how so many people don’t see the dangers of nationalism and how history (from the 1930s) is repeating itself. And all those people who rebuke Donald Trump for “America first” and “Make America great again” are the same people who think Nicola’s drive for nationalism is wonderful. They really are quite thick.

Bit of a difference removing a facemask at a private wake and admitting straight away it was a mistake and against the law v driving to test your eyesight and claiming no laws were broken.
I know who I think is likely to have made an honest mistake/error and the one who I think is a prize Twat!

Even so, it's not going to help her career. Looking at that picture, I can't see any sign of a mask about her person. When most people go in and out of Covid rule areas they keep it around their neck, or have it pulled down. I suppose being a leader must make you a massive media target, it can't be easy, which is probably why most people don't want to become one.

I wonder how easy it would be for a leader to just resign because they wanted to. What happens if you just don't fancy the job any more, too stressful?
Can you just leave or do you have to do something to encourage others to make you leave.

I think there are dangers in globalism too, it relies even more on finding people we can really trust to lead the world. Maybe we've found a good compromise now after all these years. Perhaps the EU was just slightly too big? Personally I'd be quite sad if Scotland became independent, but if it turned out better for them and for the UK, then perhaps why not? I'm wondering whether we'll see Cornwall go independent in the future?

The M25 would make quite a good land border. A few checkpoints and gun towers that should keep the buggers in/out.
