There will be many here who will be too scared to visit their boat in fear of a fine from the Police or a 'Covid Marshall'... or that their curtain-twitching neighbours will report them. Many boats will just be sitting in marinas gradually going rusty, engine parts seizing, and spiders taking over the interior. Let's hope the stern glands aren't leaking! In reality, Iβd say half the boats on the system sit from October to April without being visited. They will nearly all fire up just fine. As you probably know, itβs best not to intermittently start engines over winter. Not many spiders this winter on outer boat, perhaps they have covid? No boats sank in our marina, all just waiting for the Spring getaway, just like most years.
