On Radio 4 earlier they said Finland is the happiest country in the world.
Apparently they have a "failure day" whatever that is. And it's verrry verrrry cold brrrr.

Am I correct that no one from here has been seriously ill from covid? But Peterboat has been hospitalised due to being jabbed? Just wondering(with a balanced mind) I don't think we can say for sure as several regular posters stopped posting.. How do we really know? if i was ill with covid I wouldn't post and if I recovered may well re evaluate life and decide theres more to it than continually seeing all the Foxes posts and those regarding TD. I get very close to leaving this forum but ATM I'm a bit lonely so come just to see if theres something pleasant to read. I have know people who had covid and recovered and sadly also some who have died. As I've said before 3 of my relatives worked in the front line in ITU and I believe what they had to say Its also reported that death toll underestimated in places like Peru... Its up to the individual to believe or not believe. Most of us probably know of people who have had Covid It could be that on here the solitary nature of boaters has protected many people from infection I don’t dispute that covid is a dangerous virus. I also have family and friends that have seen it’s effect up close. I do though wonder whether the measures taken in fighting it have been over the top.

He might also point out that when the pandemic is looked back at, it will be seen that covid was nowhere near the biggest cause of death over the last decade. Anyway, as I said, I’m only wondering aloud. Nobody knows where this is going.

This is why those whose view differs from that of the establishment should have their views respected, rather than vilified. I think they largely are. Forgetting the more extreme nonsense from each side on the Internet, I think most adults have considered the vaccines and made a personal choice. Having decided to be vaccinated, or not, we have each then moved on. That's what happens in life isn't it ... on a day to day basis as I wander around, no one knows or cares if I've had one jab, two, none, voted leave, remain, Labour or tory , whether I'm gay, straight , rich or poor. I think most people on a personal basis, are more concerned whether I'm friendly, polite, and respectful. Rog

"the goal is the greta reset to build back greta no flights or travel or cars for plebs.. depopulation.. infertility.. even if it relaxes on jun 21st.. lockdown will resume for any one of thousands of variants come winter. then it will become climate change lockdowns.. meanwhile blue states in the USA will continue to live as normal.. but they will get the same airtime as lockdown marches.. i.e. none.. you will have no heating and you will eat cheap vegan food and you will work from home or not work at all and you will not travel and you will be happy having injections. meanwhile.. China will continue to make everything.. burning coal.. etc.. laughing all the way to the bat." I hope your wife has the same outlook on life as you, otherwise it must be a sad life for her, having to listen to your tripe all day.

On Radio 4 earlier they said Finland is the happiest country in the world. Well, there you go, then. The BBC never lies. Bodies piled up high and funeral pyres on the streets of Bolton! But thank the cows that they'e in Lancashire as the Triple Yorkshire Mutant on t'other side of Pennines has just gone berserk! BBC failing to report the booing when the players took a knee before the England game. Pretending that everyone thinks the same way as them, not reporting anything to the contrary. You can say what you like about the BBC but at least they are consistent, and entirely predictable.

I'm still waiting.

No radio or TV on any of my boats. No computers.
Radio 3 and 4 in the car.
No "feeds" on phone just manually opened web pages for news and forum.
I don't like all this media thing it seems to be too controlling.

And to have a perv at Carol Kirkwood. I don't watch for long though. It's inevitable that every half an hour or so poignant music will signal the introduction of yet another bleeding heart story of some individual that nobody knows. I hit the remote then, over to RT, get some actual news.
