There was quite a pretty cut down ex BW job GUCCCo narrow boat there called Gorse at the time. I think it was one of the ones they chopped down to help with turning. Nice boat that was.
Not that I especially like narrow boats. If I did especially like narrow boats I would have bought a converted FM&C boat years ago but I actually don't particularly like them as boats..
Very handy but not my bag.

I get that metanoia ... like folks who crawl out of locks ... quite frustrating. But I think if you choose to wave someone forward ... a very clear gesturing hand signal ... the onus is then on you to hold steady and let them move forward, not move forward yourself. Rog I know... .... and you know ... Unfortunately, it seems, they don't know ..... p.s. I was trying to reply earlier but have just been side swiped so heavily by a passing boat the computer fell off the table. On going out to investigate they shouted at me they had said "sorry" - I asked if I had hit their precious car which probably cost a fraction of my boat "sorry" would have sufficed - more like handbags and insurance details at dawn? Never mind, the laptop still works, there is still water pouring out of my sink for some reason, poor old dog has given up barking and calmed down and they have probably now made it to the pub (which I would have mentioned doesn't do food in the evenings but ....!) Roll on October! Ooooooouuuuuuuuccccccchhhhh!

I sincerely apologise if it was sympathy for my major bump instead - even a towpath walker exhaled and said "Christ, I heard - but that's you'wm howwemm" - and then we had a mutual moan about the aggressive mad cyclists.....

Oh god how I don't miss the cyclists !
A bit modern but I quite like this one for some reason
Only shotgun I would want would be for the idiot cyclists but am lucky enough to be able to avoid the arose holes.

Thank you!
Hoqe I didn't cause offence. However, if we don't cross paths before we will definitely find each other when you go home and I reach my usual winter hunting grounds...
Where did you get to on this glorious summer's day?

Why on earth any offence? 🤷🏻♀️ We are still sat at Worcester on the pontoon by Diglis locks. Tomorrow's plan is-water up by the lock,go through the lock, wave at Upton as we go past as it'll be full of none movers & then hope to moor at Tewkesbury.Probs have to go up the lock for a mooring. 😁
