Thank God for the media. Without it, no-one would even know there was a pandemic going on.

Possible I have already stockpiled wine, rum and a few other bottles of booze.....(too numerous to mention) To-day Freya and I got back from Worms Head and wandered down to the market where I brought a few more cans of beer plus venison, water buffalo steaks, lamb and fillet steak......freezer now full. I'm sorted... most of the meat for son as he does the cooking when he comes.

I'd been wondering when panic buy mk2 was going to happen.
Hopefully not but it must be awfully tempting for the media to put out some instructions .

Please panic buy at coop. Loving the overtime rate at the moment and want it to continue.
If it stays like this I could be debt free in a few months.

Skinners and Waitrose have been doing regular deliveries to me for the past few weeks, now have enough beer and food to last well into the new year

Skinners and Waitrose have been doing regular deliveries to me for the past few weeks, now have enough beer and food to last well into the new year The wise ones ensure they have adequate provisions... "Wise virgins always keep their wicks trimmed". One of my mum's favourite expressions. Sadly I am not a wise virgin. ETA that sounds a bit religious but there was no god bothering and we never went to church at all. Another one of her utterances was "understanding is the booby prize" which came from Werner Erhard who managed to displace money from well off people in exchange for the EST training. I remember it well. Weirdo thing but also technically quite interesting for participants. It could be that the Steiner education and the EST training are directly responsible for me being such an incredibly high quality individual. I don't know what else could have caused it.

Would it be any great loss if your wick was trimmed? You have already passed your genes on.

Then I looked at the rain and changed my mind. i was going to stock up on the aged beef.

There are special wick trimming scissors available for this.

There are special wick trimming scissors available for this. Wouldn't they still work though, on any wick.
