You misread my original post. That was not the word, I can assure you. I merely edited my post when I realised the word I had used might identify where I believe another boater and forum member to be moored.
I, like many others, don't want all the "watchers" to know where we are - which is one of the reasons we live out here.
If YOU are happy to do so that is your choice.
Whilst you may not respect anyone, it not being "your bag", you can just leave them alone if you don't like them.

I was doing a joke.
It seems pretty obvious that you would not refer to someone's location as "waddle".
Quack quack.
And the whole idea of an internet forum is to interact.
If there was no "to and fro" or "interacting" it would be completely pointless.
It's not a "like" or "dislike" thing really.
Interesting point though. A lot of social media has like and dislike. Thumbs up or thumbs down.
Hmm.
Isn't it

Many apologies @ whatever you are called this week.
Whilst we often "get" each other's posts, my idea of GSOH and yours differ greatly - to the point where I have to go away from here for weeks at a time....

No - I don't think I do - in the old fashioned way (but then I'm a lot older than you)

Maybe I should have put an exclamation mark.
I am not aware of it being a verb.

I'm not sure because I'm not THAT old but I believe "goosing" was once the term used for pinching a woman's (well anyone's these days) bum?
No doubt there will be someone along to correct that...

In my younger days it was a term for far worse than pinching a bum.

In my younger days it was a term for far worse than pinching a bum. When the woman was still interested in me for reproduction purposes we met a couple on the Thames on one of those square sided east west narrow boats and it was called "you goose". I assumed it was something like "you are so silly". They were nice people as they said we looked like we were a lovely couple and about 26 but we were actually a about 38.
