186. Has this little gem: ..."ensuring unmeritorious cases are filtered earlier..." One wonders who decides what is and is not meritorious. I suppose it refers to time wasters.
that would include OP then.

not really - "if the cap fits - wear it". If it's a baseball cap worn back to front, then the wearer should always be classed as juvenile. Except if they are welding.

Thanks to the UK’s love affair with intermittent wind power, electricity bills will double this April when a legislated price cap is lifted; UK power prices are already amongst the highest in Europe. And there is much worse to come.
If things keep going like this, you won’t have to watch out for when you charge your car. The demand will be so great and supply so low that people will be assigned car charging time slots. Which naturally means you can only charge your car enough to get to work. Forget about road trips. You want to go somewhere on holiday? You’ll have to use public transport, and you'd better wear a mask. Oh, would you look at that… Looks like you’re behind on your boosters. And what’s more, in the past month we have recorded 3 separate occasions when you expressed views on-line which may be construed as critical towards the established state science. I’m sorry, but we cannot approve your travel at this point in time.

Charging the car won't be the main cost it will be the pay per mole situation.
There will be a gradual de-emphasis on the freedom to have your own 4 wheels, with cars eventually becoming the preserve of the wealthy, as they should always have been.
The plebs will have to get around on bikes or autotaxis the latter of which will be programmed to give way to the more important owner-occupied vehicles.

I used to enjoy listening to "Letter from America" by Alistair Cooke.
So much better than reading "Notes from Finland",

I used to enjoy our freedoms - now the Government uses 'Covid' as an excuse to keep us all locked up. It's unlikely you'll ever be going abroad again without presenting your Vaccine Pass - a 'conspiracy theory' come true. I was right all along.

"For the last year in Austria, where I live, the hypocrisy, discrimination, and name-calling have risen to levels that we haven’t seen in a long, long time, certainly in my memory. That I choose not to get vaccinated is simply my choice and that’s it.
In Austria, according to a recent survey, the vast majority of the population believe their Government to be corrupt. We have had four Prime Ministers in one year. In Vienna, if I have a negative test and no symptoms, I am still not allowed into a shoe shop to buy my three-year-old son a pair of shoes because the Government has decided that shoes are nonessential items. In fact, an unvaccinated person has not been granted access to hairdressers, cafés, bars, restaurants, theatres, cinemas and so on since late October. In order to continue earning a living, an unvaccinated person has had to provide a negative test every 48 hours. In the meantime, the vaccinated, who are not required to test, even if they have symptoms, have had free rein. And the numbers have continued to rise, and the unvaccinated blamed."
