I must be doing something wrong with my Pela pump then. I have the globe shaped one rather than the tall cylindrical one. I constantly have to pump it every ten seconds and i only get a tiny bit of oil each time. I've tried pumping it a few times and then just being patient, but the oil stops flowing after about 10 seconds. Yes the oil was hot. So I've given up with the Pela pump and returned to using the hand pump on the side of the engine which takes 60 mins of constant pumping to get 10litres out. Needless to say i am overdue an oil change. I can remove more than 10 litres of oil from my Beta 90 engine using the standard hand pump in a fraction of that time Junior. There must be some sort of problem as it shouldn't take anything like 60 minutes. Each pull of the handle on my pump gives a steady stream of oil until you get right to the end near empty. Are you getting air bubbles or a partially complete stream perhaps which might indicate the source of the problem? Roger
