Nah, I'm friendly and kind. I meet Yorkshiremen crossing the border, shave the segs off their knuckles and teach them to walk upright. They pass for human then. It’s the carbuncle on your boat Jim, it’s reputation precedes it. In fairness, it is quite useful. Jim keeps all his old "Vote Remain" leaflets in it and uses them to light the stove.

Apparently the guy can’t even lie flat in it ....................
Apparently
unless his name is Billy Monger I would have thought that is a given.

It got me wondering.
Has anyone ever seen a dwarf on a boat (other than in the Bond film)?
I wonder if it's just something one can't do if vertically challenged or perhaps they just don't like boats.
It could be quite cool to be able to have a double deck craft and be able to stand up everywhere in it.
I have been considering using dwarfs for the crew for our old CRN motoryacht in St Tropez.
The existing crew like their contracts but boys will be boys and mature dwarfs might be more responsible while still taking up not too much valuable space on the yacht which is after all only 55m long.
Engine room can be more compact too.
A highly competent marine engineer dwarf would be a very useful person to know.

I recall seeing one once on the Shroppie at Adderley. In operating the bottom gate paddles, he had to remove the windlass as he was unable to reach it over the top of the revolution.
