Also it has nothing to do with the "t&c" bullshit. The previous comments were referring to whether CRT is effectively a housing authority with regards to the cc ing question. They act as a landlord if they like it or not. So they definately can’t avoid their duty of care. Glad that's settled. Next!

Tony. If you read the thread with your blinkers off you will discover what Kris was referring to with his "plausible denial" commemt. ...the last one raising, once again, the subject matter - the mis-application/misuse of S.43 of the 1963 Act - that if used wisely and effectively to argue against the unlawful application of C&RT's extra-statutory T&C's... It is shocking that no-one has been wise or effective in this regard so far. What plan do you suggest which would demonstrate either or both of these desirable attributes? (asking for a friend)

Not just “the cc ing question,” think how many moorings that they receive payments from, that people live on?They act as a landlord if they like it or not. So they definately can’t avoid their duty of care. Not a wasps nest I would poke if I was still living on board. It may be legal to ban living on board altogether, now that would hurt a lot of people. 30 years ago we went out of our way to make boats look as if they weren't lived in, things like no stove smoke in daylight hours etc just in case the local council got wind of it. Would you want to go back to that? I think we are already going back to that. Unfortunately living o ca boat has become trendy similar to living in a van. I blame all of the media exsposure including social media. It’s not a matter of keep your head down and it will go away any more. No matter how much Andrew would like it to be.

Maybe we should be shouting from the rooftops how awful it is to live on a boat. Not that anyone visits this dump anyway except for the locals. I think this forum might scare people away from buying a boat. But the number of Facebook groups where people make it look idyllic. With all the advice on how to paint the interior white and place a few plants to get that boho look. Is quite astounding.

I'm perfectly happy if itinerant boat dwelling is banned. I have a ivory towers and only a few seconds to live. It is no skin off my nose whatever this means. Fuck 'em. Sort your shit or do one innit. I prefer the second option.

There’s no point Andrew, your wasting your time. Ps It’s “plausible deniability,” it’s a legal term, so Tony wouldn’t understand it. 'Legal term' be buggered, . . it's an Americanism, . . a pre-prepared arse covering spiel dreamed up by the dishonest and corrupt to be deployed in the event of them being caught out, . . something I would have thought that low grade scum such as you would have at their grubby fingertips.

kris is a really nice bloke. Loves his boat and works very hard on it. Just saying 👍 Rog He's very adept at disguising the real Kris. It took the best part of two years of providing him with a mooring - to keep C&RT off his back - and giving him a lot of FoC help and advice with A39, before I realised what a thoroughly dishonest, two-faced, bull-shitting, manipulative little rat he actually is. You've met him once, . . in real life !

Personally I'm surprised Kris took that long to decide anywhere that you are not is preferable.

Usually it's about seven but it gone as high as 13 on a couple of rare occasions. Records began in 1846. That's quite a lot of records considering the fact that they are jotted down every 3 hours from 6am to 6pm and every 6 hours between 6.01pm and 5.59am.
It is remarkable.
