I reckon some of these old Dutch Boats might be a bit thin.
Baked bean tins are ok but not ideal other than for keeping baked beans in..

I reckon parts of Dulcinea are a bit thin π― Seen as he never gets his boats out of the water, youβre probably right. How many years have you owned the boat now Andrew?

It must be about time for a cement floor by now. Is there anyone who can advise?

The point is that it makes no difference how thin my Boats arrr as the topic is about Boats for sale. If and when my Boats rust and sink then get advertised for sale (more likely scrap) then it could be a relevant topic on this thread.

This is Thunderboat threads never stay on subject, you should know that.

Do you think your boat will still be afloat when itβs 91? well, it must be about the same age as me, the original hull was 1/8" plate, army green, with bench seats in the cabin area to the front. Similar to an inspection launch. Registered in 1968 when everything was given a BW number. Possibly 2nd world war, it's old.

That was when my parents made the mistake of getting married. I have mother's gold band on my keyring.

A lot of potential for someone who is handy.
Akerboom seems to be a well known Dutch Boat maker. It looks like quite a nice hull.
Hopefully not full of water inside.

Yes, I've alrready had the obligatory daydream on how I'd proceed with it.
The hull looks professionally made, the superstructure less so. But maybe with paint it would look better. I imagine it with two large portholes in the front. Also it needs bilge keels added.
