Many of us agreed with Tony's aim, but thought he went the wrong way about it. He was hoist by the BSS exemption. If that had been sorted, and what is easier than a BSS on an empty boat, he might have got further. He could also have paid attention to Nigel Moore 's modus operandi, calm and collected and polite. Trying to goad CRT to take him to court was a risible exercise, we can hear the chortling in Parry's office. It never fails to amuse me when stupid self-opinionated people who neither know me, nor knew Nigel Moore, other than remotely through the pages of CWDF or Thunderboat, or perhaps via the odd brief chance meeting, make uninformed statements as to their flawed perception of what they mistakenly see as a radically different approach to dealing with the C&RT's wrongdoings. What complete fools you are, . . almost as stupid as C&RT's corrupt incompetent senior management, . . and its equally crooked and corrupt lawyers. You might have had a similiar approach towards dealing with CRT, but you certainly have a different approach compared with Nigel's with regard 'getting people to support you'. I suspect you don't think that is important, but many would say otherwise. It's why Jenlyn failed...

I have no connection to any other forum apart from the bar. "Look what you've done"? What a wanker you are. The question still stands: if you are not here to make mischief, why have you been changing your user name (and avatar) so often, including recently several times per day? And constantly slagging off other members. I fear you are exaggerating, or at the least, confusing me with someone else. And go fuck yourself, miserable wanker. Fuck your mother too. Does that constitute 'mischief'? I hope so.

I did meet Nigel on a few non-chance occasions and even saw the wooden bath and handbasin in the boat. Nice hand made items. Very unusual.
I have not met Tony but I do find from the written presentation that they may have quite different approaches.
Nigel was well known for being very precise, rarely rude and also getting into court rooms.
I can't remember the exact wording but he was lauded as being very very persistent, precise and determined by one of the judges in a case he won against BW. It seemed an unlikely victory but he did get it done.
Tony does seem to have some persistence but this is mainly around being rude and attempting to defeat other people simply through weight of offence rather than being more intelligent about it and steering clear of the offence. It isn't needed. It might be funny in a way but it significantly detracts from credibility.
In the event (1 in 1000) that Tony gets into a court he might very well find that the judge has done his homework. Personality and previous performance is taken into account.
I don't think a belligerent attitude is likely to be a positive trait. Persistence yes but belligerence I think not. Devilment is also a negative trait.
All speculative anyway as nothing will happen.

I don't think Martin/Nemesis/deleted/pointless banality is the Gigologuy. That was someone else. We know who it definitely wasn't as he assured us.

Yes, that was someone ese but Ross knows this; he is presently engaged in attempting to prove to himself, and presumably others, that he has never indulged in all the nasty little habits he previously and recently delighted in and now ascribes to others.
Devilment is nothing to be proud of but it is fun to return the favour.

To be fair I think Ross did believe you were the Gigologuy. Your latest avatar does bear something of a resemblance and the owner of the Gigologuy was quite good at disguise so misunderstanding is understandable.

I have no idea what the individual in question looks like. However it seemed consonant with the current screen name; the 'Killroy' character was something of a popular lowbrow meme originating, as far as I am aware, in the 1940s but carried forward to much later in the century mainly through comic strips and graffiti.
I am currently giving intermittent consideration to what I might change it to next but it doesn't seem terribly important.

'nemesis' (aka several other user names, most recently 'pointless banality'): "go fuck yourself, miserable wanker. Fuck your mother too."

Nemesis is unusual in that he arrived here having not been on CWDF previously. A true TB member.
I think he might be annoyed about the degradation of the forum which a lot of people think was caused by Tony and yourself, Ross.
I don't buy into that theory completely but I know a lot of people have singled you two out as posters who they were generally irritated by.
Anyway, enough naval gazing.

You really shouldn't speak ill of the dead. He was well respected.

I think you mean " caused by 'nemesis' " ... or, as he thinks we are on first name terms, Martin of North Kent. The forum was ticking along quite nicely before he came along. I don't think telling other members to fuck themselves and "fuck your mother too" is particularly helpful to his cause. As I've said, a really easy way for this forum to continue and flourish is to slap little notices on every boat you walk past. Costs nothing, and gets you out in the open, along the towpaths. It's something Martin could do. How about jumping on a train to Newbury and walking to Hungerford, for example, Martin? Or is it putting your socks in drawers day? London is even nearer - the Regents Canal. Let us know how you get on ... and post some pics?

Hardly surprising, looking at the crap Ross falls for on his rambles round the internet. And then copies and posts as evidence (of his gullibility).

And now you are trying to make Tony look bad by claiming he doesn't/didn't respect Nigel's views/aims/methods. This is typical of you, twisting things to make others appear in a bad light. "He was well respected" ... probably not by you if he had turned out wanting to refuse the Covid 'vaccines'. You'd have wished that he died of Covid. As you have for me.
