I just enjoy being judgemental and making sweeping generalisations.

So is owning slaves ok again then? My first thought was 'what an odd retort' but, on reflection, I would say owning a slave is fine so long as you have a suitable cellar. The likelihood of escape or discovery becomes intolerable without one.

Do they all live on a boat there? No, you are thinking of Venice.

Do they all live on a boat there? No, you are thinking of Venice. There's a very interesting shop in Venice that has upside down cockerels on the walls.... Just sells gaudy blazers and tables carved with rats running down the legs.. the carvings are of rats and they were across the top as well The only clientele I saw was 'young men' of a certain age... I went in one door and out the other.. fascinating place..Ive always wanted to go back and check the place out again

Still, plenty more where they came from.

Postmodern theorists refer to this sort of thing (the ambiguity of language) as 'slippage'.
