Random other boaters. It is mostly people who have boats and use them but also probably biased towards the narrows. It is mostly elderly leisure boaters who also voted to make the wide beans and cc'rs subsidise their May and September voyages. That’s the nail on the head. Crt have been selective over who they have othered. I think it will get kicked out as being discriminatory if it’s challenged legally.

This really IS and has always been the worst month on the narrows - the one after "the school holidays" and before the fictitious "stoppage season" when they all come out and speed about .... Hitting bridges, boats trunking etc, and all from their armchairs. So self righteous as well. I remember one of their well known posters cutting a boat loose, after it had been moved near to a lock landing where family could collect personal possessions. It resulted in many of us looking for a dead guys boat that we thought had been stolen. The culprit is still a loud mouthed little cunt who posts on there.

No. Worse than that.

The joy of private facebook groups.
It must be wonderful.
Jenlyn is just jealous of me because I can present a reasoned argument without rapidly resorting to insult.

You're an idiot, hence your fear of fb. You don’t present anything, other than fiction. Even london boaters banned you for the sake of their sanity.

I thought it was quite funny they banned me because I was using a pseudonym I have only ever published on here!
Anyway I do have a login and can view if needed with a different name but wouldn't touch it with a largepole.
I'm not afraid of facebook in the slightest I can see what its doing and its not pleasant.
Call me a clairvoyant.

Claire is okay with me.
Considering gender reassignment so offers of girly names always good. Claire Cummins should do it.

Not so random on CWDF - mostly elderly leisure boaters who also voted to make the wide beans and cc'rs subsidise their May and September voyages. This really IS and has always been the worst month on the narrows - the one after "the school holidays" and before the fictitious "stoppage season" when they all come out and speed about .... We're 'elderly' leisure boaters(about 5 months on a big trip,2 or 3 month long trips & weekends out of the marina). We also do cottage trips to our boat where we stay put ! We love our boat but costs are starting to escalate...😧

I'll never be able to live on land. This was just one of those days. I'm in it for the long haul although admittedly not on CRT water. I'm pretty sure I saw your boat moored on the Limehouse cut a couple of weeks ago.

I would be interested to hear how dogless feels and where he fits in with the CC debate - travelling for 8 or 9 months and then taking a winter mooring (usually(?)) in the same location to go home. Do you know what camp that will put you in Rog? This really is going to be a strange one for CRT to manage/legislate. Just get organised so the licence is due while boat is in marina. Job sorted.

Put in the t&c that it has to be a 12 month mooring contract and do away with winter moorings.
It makes sense for CRT to only include those who have CRT contributing moorings either direct, eog or CRT agreement marinas to be classed as having a home mooring.
Anyone claiming a mooring elsewhere to be treated as a cc er for the purposes of the CRT licence.
CRT need to protect and gain from their assets.

If the T&C state it has to be a 12 month mooring contract, why bother doing away with winter moorings - they provide a service and generate revenue.
