That sounds horrible kris. I hope it doesn't last too long. When I had bad back pain they subscribed Codeine Phosphate tablets which were quite good. I didn't get addicted but can see how it could happen. Free scrips so I just kept ordering them online. No need for any painkillers any more. Good luck with the back pain its a really shit situation.

Isn't the CRT in Leeds these days?
I suppose on £200k salary one would want to spend as much time as possible in the sun so maybe the office is in Marbella.

They are still in Leeds somewhere but have given up the office near the armory. He probably works from home a lot, but he will still have an office somewhere.

If publicity is the aim surely following JSO’s lead by blockading major canal based transport routes around London & along the K&A etc is the way to go. By double / triple breasting, hogging all the VM, service points & lock landings whilst also chucking paints /waste liquids, cassette / composting bog contents & general day to day rubbish all over the towpaths, I would think they would get lots of well deserved publicity. 👍

Anyone know when the irate, protesting CCers be setting sail on their protest cruises to CRT’s locked up offices at Birmingham?

What about the protest that happened at Westminster the other day? It didn’t even make the news. I would say that NBTA are better at publicity than Fund British waterways.

I would say that NBTA are better at publicity than Fund British waterways. Yes indeed, but everytime nbta starts a campaign, it usually results in the average boater losing out at the end of it. Every court case they have promoted or represented has done nothing other than strengthen CRT's hand. Nick brown may think he's some sort of mafia don, but he's actually a fuckin midget with issues.

They’ve achieved more for cc’ers than the ACC ever did.

I've been saying for the last ten yars that nbta is a militant wing of the CRT.

I've been saying for the last ten yars that nbta is a militant wing of the CRT. Well actually they started off as anti nuclear protesters, that's when the superspy cop infiltrated their group and got one of the feckers pregnant. When the nuke stuff started to calm down, they switched across to boating issues.

The big day is rapidly approaching, placards are being made & Mr Parry has booked his airb&b weekend away in Benidorm. I wonder if a taxi load or two of angry, well turned out marina moorers have been organised by CRT to fight and generally cause trouble with the entitled great unwashed on the day?🤷🏽♂️
