Am I a bad person for not feeling sorry for the Russians who died in the stadium attack? They allowed their country to become a dictatorship (a process that took many years) and didn’t say much when their government tried to invade an adjacent country that presented no threat to them? Lots of Ukrainians died in that process, and continue to do so. Perhaps this is Karma?

Nor could they have stopped the invasion of Ukraine. Much the same as we that live in the UK can stop our countries slide into the s…hole that it is becoming. I feel sorry for any innocent person that loses their life prematurely. You can obviously feel free not too.

I sometimes think if a country can't manage a municipal waste water system without dumping thousands of tonnes of shit in rivers then there are some basic problems. A slide is what it looks like sadly.

Seems more than a tad harsh.
People going about their lives suddenly attacked and killed or injured for no reason connected to them specifically.
Apart from the language difference I see striking similarities to the Manchester Arena attack and I would have thought you'd have sympathies there.

Some russkies applaud the war in Ukraine. Others don't. None of them have a say in what their dictator is doing with and to their country.
Funny how we've forgotten about IS and Syria, I imagine they wanted us to be reminded. There's a lot of evil about these days.

I find it incredible that the Russians did not heed the warnings that were obviously picked up by The U.K and the Americans, who advised nationals to avoid large public gatherings like concerts. I recall visiting Egypt 3 months after the Arab Spring, off a cruise ship where Cairo was one of the stops. The cruise was booked months in advance, and only British ships kept to their programmes. The residents were most plwased to see us, and one of the benefits was that all the tourist spots and museums were uncongested. Cairo was still a dirty shithole, but the next day we were at Alexandria which was also welcoming but much cleaner and had a much friendlier ambience.

What's any of that got to do with public gatherings or why the russkies had a concert? Truly baffled.

To you being a bad person. You asked a question I answered. Come on nick it’s not that difficult. I asked two questions. You answered one without indicating which one you were answering. I appreciate that counting to more than 1 can be tricky.
So the next question is, do you think I am a bad person anyway, regardless of my views on the dead Russians (in which case I have carte blanche to say really bad things about anyone without you thinking any the worse of me) or do you think me a bad person solely because I don't feel sympathy for the dead Russians. Sorry this is a slightly complicated question that can't be answered with "yes" or "no" and so is most likely beyond your ability to respond. Sorry about that.
