It is reported that the ECHR has found against the Swiss government and a further 34 European countries in cases concerning progress to 'net zero'. The decisions will allegedly have repercussions in other countries that are not directly involved in the actions, the U.K. included. Will this mean that we are not likely to be the only country that will leave this toothless bunch of unelected individuals who know so much better than the rest of us. They will no doubt have plenty of pension funds accumulated to soften the blow.

It might mean that climate change will begin to be taken seriously. Imagine how awful that will be.

I can't see the likes of China, India and Indonesia taking climate change seriously. Only recently India was boasting about mining record amounts of coal.

It is a problem. And if Trump is re-elected then...you know. But change has to start somewhere. Assuming we don't witness the Armageddon first.

But yes, fans of 'The Omen' will be aware that this is where the modern term comes from.

Bloody brilliant but nothing ever happens there. I think it was the Bahai anyway. may have been someone else but I was like 'what a waste but it is near Reading and the area is crawling with pikey scum'.

They tend to be wealthy. They are not allowed to visit their pilgrimage sites in Iran. They build amazing temples.
