In one of the quirks of our electoral system, Hillary Clinton actually received a couple hundred thousand more votes that Trump did. It's the same in the UK, a party can be elected to Government despite receiving fewer votes than the opposition. Both the "big two" seem prepared to accept this as being more in their interests than proportional representation.

I'm not a big Hillary fan, but I will be proud to finally be able to say "Madam President", and I'll be proud to have her representing my country - so long as she doesn't start any wars. One to cut out and keep:
